During 2014, YORKDALE CENTRE commemorated its Golden Anniversary. A new Southwest Wing (in medium gray) had been dedicated in late 2012. It added twenty-seven inline stores to the retail roster and included an expansion of the existing Holt-Renfrew. Much of the Parkade, on the east end of the mall, has been demolished. 

In early 2014, work got underway on another YORKDALE addition; this replacing the bulk of the old Parkade garage. Nordstrom would anchor a new East Wing. The store opened in October 2016.
