YORKDALE CENTRE, circa-2017. A vacant Sears has been sectioned into inline stores, with a large portion going to a 4-storey RH Home Furnishings & Decor. On the opposite end of the complex, the new East (Nordstrom) Wing has been completed. The mall encompasses around 1.9 million leasable square feet.

In this view, we see an entry court in the new East Wing. Outside a wall of windows looms the Yorkdale Place office tower.

Nordstrom's Canadian expansion was unsuccessful. All full-line stores closed -in unison- in mid-2023. The abandoned Nordstrom at YORKDALE CENTRE was repurposed by La Maison Simons. This Quebec-based fashion retailer opened at the mall in the fall of 2025.
