Tokyo's Tamagawa Takashimaya SC

Takashimaya ["Tahk-uh-shee-miy-uh"], an Osaka-based chain of department stores, developed and anchored Japan's first mall-type shopping center. TAMAGAWA TAKASHIMIYA SC was built under the auspices of Toshin Kaihatsu, Limited, a Tokyo-based subsidiary formed in 1963.
