During the early years of WEST EDMONTON MALL, shows were held at the Dolphin's Lagoon, which was a section of the Deep Sea Adventure indoor lake.

Also in the Deep Sea Adventure section was a replica of Christopher Columbus' Santa Maria flagship. It had been created for Vancouver, British Columbia's Expo '86 world's fair.
