The northwest anchor store, originally a New York City-based B. Altman's, was shuttered in November 1990. It sat vacant until Wisconsin-based Kohl's assumed a large portion of the space, in September 1994.

Metropolis, a three-venue nightclub, filled the remainder of the old B. Altman's. Opened in November 2000, the night spot featured techno, country & western and top 40 dance floors. Metropolis closed for good in June 2011 and was proceeded by the Place 2 B nightclub. This facility debuted in June 2012, but had closed for good by December of the same year.

A snapshot of a shuttered WonderPark Family Fun Center. It opened in August 2001 and closed in March 2008. The 21,000 square foot entertainment complex consisted of kiddie ride amusements. These included dodgem cars, the Boa Squeeze mini roller coaster and a mini train. The Swampy's Grill snack bar included a Pizza Hut Express.
