Our first GREENHILLS CENTER floor plan, dated 1939. Due to construction cost overruns and budget restraints, only half of the shopping center planned in 1936 would be completed. The south store block structure that was built comprised approximately 49,800 square feet. It included a 3-level Administration Building and adjacent Police and Fire Station. At the north end of the site stood a solitary Gas Station and Auto Repair Garage.

Above we see the main shopping concourse, which faced Winton Road. This picture was snapped in October 1938.

A year later, the same photographer took this shot of the upper parking area and main shopping concourse.
