Sears anchored the south end of HAMILTON PLACE for over 30 years. The store was shuttered in January 2019.

By 2020, a vacant Sears at HAMILTON PLACE has been repurposed. A first phase added a freestanding The Cheesecake Factory, which opened in late 2018. Dick's Sporting Goods and Dave & Buster's filled the majority of the former department store. The final segment, a freestanding Aloft By Marriott hotel, welcomed first guests in late 2020.
