Merchandising meccas and other commercial curiosities. Our exhibits range from the early 20th to early 21st centuries.
DON MILLS CONVENIENCE CENTRE sat 5.5 miles northeast of downtown and opened for business in 1955. Also open-air in format, the complex was expanded in the 1960s and fully-enclosed in 1978. It was totally demolished in 2006 and replaced with SHOPS AT DON MILLS, a lifestyle-type venue, in 2009. Photo from Wikipedia / "Simon P" Graphic from http://www.shopsatdonmills.ca
