Cincinnati's Forest Fair Mall

Greater Cincinnati's "bigger than life" supermall was the first American foray of Australia's L. J. Hooker Corporation. FOREST FAIR MALL was followed by three sibling shopping centers; Thornton, Colorado's THORNTON TOWN CENTER (1989), Columbia, South Carolina's RICHLAND FASHION MALL (1989) and Louisville, Kentucky's MIDDLETOWN STATION (1991). At least eight more megamalls were proposed, but the company folded before their construction could get underway.
