A circa-1989 logo for Greater Cincinnati's "bigger than life" supermall. FOREST FAIR, the first American foray of Australia's L.J. Hooker Corporation, was followed by three sibling shopping centers; Thornton, Colorado's THORNTON TOWN CENTER (1989), Columbia, South Carolina's RICHLAND FASHION MALL (1989) and Louisville, Kentucky's MIDDLETOWN STATION (1991). At least eight more megamalls were proposed, but the company went bust before their construction could get underway.
