A circa-1989 logo for Greater Cincinnati's "bigger than life" supermall. FOREST FAIR, the first American foray of Australia's L.J. Hooker Corporation, was followed by 3 sibling shopping centers; Thornton, Colorado's THORNTON TOWN CENTER (1989), Columbia, South Carolina's RICHLAND FASHION MALL (1989) and Louisville, Kentucky's MIDDLETOWN STATION (1991). At least 8 more megamalls were proposed, but the company went bust before their construction could get underway.
